Riffpfeiler mit zentralem Luftheber

    Heute sind auch meine Hawaiigarnelen eingezogen.
    Wie erwartet sind das sehr aktive Schwimmer, da braucht man wirklich keine Fische mehr, die zwanzig Minigarnelen schwirren permanent durch Becken.
    Gegenüber den sehr sesshaft am Substrat lebenden tropischen Mysis sind sie auch etwa 20 mal so groß.

    Ein kleiner Steinseeigel (Durchmesser 15mm) ist heute auch noch ins Becken gekommen.
    Mal sehen, ob ihm die Algen schmecken :)

    Finde die Hawai- Garnele echt toll.
    Kann man diese auch in einen Riffaquarium, mit Strömungspumpen halten?
    Hatte gerade gelesen, das sie ja eher aus dem Brackwasser kommen.

    Hallo Vic,


    die Hawaiigarnelen sind bezüglich der Dichte sehr variabel, wobei die Anpassung natürlich langsam erfolgen muss.
    Da sie wirklich viel schwimmen und im freien Wasser unterwegs sind hätte ich bei starker Strömung etwas Bedenken.
    Wenn es aber auch strömungsarme Bereiche im Becken gibt sollte es meiner Meinung nach gehen.
