    Given the information is am aware there is some history. My only hope is this don't mess things up in here.
    I was invited to share my thought and ways in here, so i gladly do. However... I don't want to end up in a tug of war.

    Read more about it on my website english and dutch.
    Most articles will be translated 1:1 just as we speak.
    It will be done bij a third party, as my german writing is very poor.
    It will be open source and anyone with good english/german knowlegde can check this translation.

    I am working out a plan with a thirth party which cost me minimal work. For me it's still a hobby which has gone ballistic.
    The only way to go, is to delegate it to people wanting to put some effort into it.

    This is no modeling but natural grown.


    But...
    Before you can enjoy and relax you need to do some homework first.

    That's why i let go of the fixed relation between KH and Ca dosing.
    The tank dynamic will vary in time and not keeping track of this (variable) ratio may affect the tanks and corals within.


    Kh and Ca measurement are 2 very easy test which don't require much time.
    So why take the chance by ommitting one.


    Not all elements have fixed relations to alk dosing
    It just sound appealing to do so...

    One part of the method is the affordability.


    I don't think they will deviate to much from the DSR enduser prices in holland.
    Unless transportcost become an issue (which i don't expect)


    It's up to them to announce when they are ready translating and get the show up and running.

    Although i never had the intention to go outside holland. It seems there is some interest from distributors to work with the system.


    They took the time to do the german translations will go online as soon as it's complete.
    I will do some language modification to the DSR calculator also

    The base products used are the base for seawater.


    DSR is about ommiting "unneccesary" elements and taking control yourself. Doing so learning more about the reefing dynamics.


    DSR (unlike Balling) is a compleet integral reefing method. It learn reefers to cope with every problem (I personally) ever encountered by ommiting water changes.
    Included are:
    - Minerals control (only the proven usefull ones)
    - nutrients control
    - reefing tips and trick to support the method


    It also don't try to mimic NSW but target to keep a wide variaty of corals, optimal growth, vivid colors and mimimum maintenance.


    It's my way of keeping the hobby to last longer than a few months/years.


    I've been reefing for since 2004 (also the date my maintank was turned into a saltwater reeftank)

    Make sure you read all the material i share (i.e. on my website) Most things are commons sense, but many may also sound very controversial.
    If you choose to give it a go, commit to it and stay on course. Never combine methods and supplements when you're not fully aware of content, purity and concentrations. The outcome could be affected by this.

    Only if you have issues with high metals and impurities you can do a waterchange with the CRS250 salt. This was specially designed for this purpose.


    But finding the source of the problem is most important...


    The CRS250 and DSR supplements are from the same source.

    No need te replace any water unless your tank is in distress.
    DSR is just about getting grip over you water quality. Nothing more or less....


    The requirement to run DSR are minimal.
    Avoid conflicting products by sticking to the basic requirements
